The collection I've been waiting for finally arrived on my computer early this week, Dior Homme Fall 07. And fall collections are always my favorites of any designer. I love Hedi for his lines, his silhouette, and for the continuity of his taste. It's always different but I can always see that it is essentially him. I can see his style in the interior design of his boutiques, his photographs, and in the designer himself.


He is not trying to be anyone but himself.
I cannot say that I believe that of all of men's wear designers, or designers period. Hedi is always ahead of the pack, next season look for looks similar to these designs. I still find designers putting out collections that are reminiscent of past Dior Homme collection under Slimane rule.




Men's clothing is very forgiving and often can fit many sizes of men's body types. It pleases me that there is a designer who caters to a THIN silhouette. The idea that men be put through the same wringer of weight and body type restrictions as all women designers do makes me extremely satisfied.



This collection, as most Dior Homme collections are not meant for mass consumption, they are stylized and specific to the uber cool elite. Not everyone can pull off these looks. You can feel art and music in the inspiration of this collection, of every collection. It speaks a certain language.
