I call bullshit!

There are so many things wrong with episode 4: Reap what you sew, of Project Runway III. I was given the impression that there was some kind of unethical cheating that had caused a cast-member to be kicked off the show. But it turns out that the reason is so pathetic and arbitrary that I'm disappointed and disillusioned. I understand and agree that pattern making books should be kept out of the sewing room. But I do not understand why the contestants- any of them- cannot consult these books away from their fabric and dress-forms. I understand the reasoning behind it, but the end result of them working without such help is often disastrous. In the real world, these designers would be able to consult any form of help that their hearts desired, why should such a helpful tool be excluded from their use?
In my humble opinion many many many many of the past and present designers would have benefited from the use of these tools, and the audience and judges would have MUCH better pieces come down the runway.
True cheating, and much more worthy of a humiliating exit would have been season 2 contestant Marla and her unashamed copy of the Chloe dress in the Niki Hilton challenge. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT IMMIEDIATELY! No matter what horrible disaster Guadalupe created, at least it was her own work.
But I digress. Keith, you are an amazing designer and you were sold out by jealous (and tacky Kane) cast mates. I don't think they really knew what they were doing when they "told" on you, but I also think they felt a lot safer with you out of the running and that has to be a fact because it is human nature to hate what you fear.
I am really disappointed in this crazy loyalty to Robert the fans are showing after the shit on wheels he sent down the runway this episode. What was he thinking? He needs to get his head out of Barbie's ass. Look I understand that he can make a pretty dress, but they all look like life size versions of Barbie. When did it become okay to want to look like Barbie again? I'll take an Austin Scarlet over a Robert Best any day.
I think personal style has a lot to do with who you are as a designer. Keith has it in spades, Alison is a bright and shining star of style. Jeffery is completely his own man and a true rock star. Laura was a serious favorite of mine at the start. Since then she hasn't evolved passed her Park Ave architect niche. Her aesthetic is pleasing, but her concepts are too costumie and for the over 40 crowd. Last but not least is Uli, she consistently presents herself in a fashion forward and very hip way. Her sense of mixing patterns with a feminine and fresh look is impeccable.
The rest... they aren't worth my time.
Keith Michael you are a wonderful person and designer, and I think too many audience members are taking you too seriously, and the show is sooooooooo much less without you in it. If I could have one wish, it would be to be able to work with you, and learn from someone who I respect and admire.
